Application:
SIL BM 270 improves the permanent protection character of surfaces in the first place. It prevents water condensation and the resulting possible leakage of water on smooth locking surfaces such as ceramic, glass or plastic, for example.
It is applied when installing electrical parts, such as batteries in vehicles, to prevent water-related leakage currents and to avoid electrical problems.
Is proven an excellent separating agent during molding of rubber and plastic articles.
Is not suitable for the lubrication of metal-metal friction partners such as ball bearings.
Temperature range:
SIL BM 270 rarely changes within a broad temperature range of - 50 ° C to + 200 ° C, a minor hardening occurs at very low temperatures.
Safety:
SIL BM 270 is chemically and biologically profoundly inert and therefore factually nontoxic.
Storage
SIL BM 270 shows an outstanding, shelf life if stored in clean, closed containers that are free from lead and Tin alloys. Slight bleeding may occur after extremely long storage period; this has no influence on the product properties.
